Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, David Arend!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Monty Moore!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore ducks under a wild hook from Arend.
David Arend seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Arend lands a right hook to the body.
A bone on bone clash there as Moore blocks the leg kick.
Moore now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Arend slips a straight right by Moore.
Arend connects with a body shot that sends Moore's belly button to the back.
Arend throws a shot to the body.

Arend drives through and clinches with Moore against the cage.
Moore scores with a shoulder strike.
Arend tries a knee to the head but Moore blocks it.
Moore is working Arend over against the cage.
Arend using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Moore has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Moore pushes Arend back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Nice body punch from Moore.
Arend is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Moore breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Moore cracks Arend with a big right hand and Arend goes down!

It looks like David Arend has been cut.

Moore drops back looking for a leg! Arend is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Arend manages to kick Moore off! Moore jumps back into Arend's guard.

Moore drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Arend manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Moore has Arend in his guard.


Moore is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Moore pulls Arend in close to prevent any damage.

Moore had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Arend defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Moore working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Arend doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Moore is tightening it up a little... Arend has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Arend reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Arend taps out! Nice BJJ there by Moore!

After winning the bout, Monty Moore thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
