Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 21 - 0, fighting out of London, Sepi Pulkkinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Manning!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manning moves into the clinch.
Manning misses with the head strike.
Manning misses with some punches.
Pulkkinen is leaning against Manning and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Pulkkinen manages to break the clinch.
Pulkkinen lands a big head kick that sends Manning tumbling to the mat! Pulkkinen takes a step backwards and waves Manning back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Ryan Manning has been cut.
Pulkkinen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pulkkinen explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Manning takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Pulkkinen throws a right and a left that Manning avoids nicely.
Manning looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A head kick by Pulkkinen misses
and Manning counters with a straight right hand.
Pulkkinen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Manning. That did some damage!
Pulkkinen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Manning only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Pulkkinen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pulkkinen looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pulkkinen circles away from the clinch attempt
and Pulkkinen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Manning takes one on the button.
Manning moves to clinch but Pulkkinen breaks away
and Pulkkinen counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Manning out cold! What a finish! Pulkkinen is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sepi Pulkkinen!
A pretty intense looking Sepi Pulkkinen took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
