Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jin Li (ranked 3404 p4p, 3673 weight class) and Nickolas Holt (ranked 358 p4p, 378 weight class). Nickolas Holt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jin Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Nickolas Holt!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li looking to score a takedown here. Holt is defending well but Li drives through and ends up in Holt's guard.
Li postures up.
Li works over Holt with some ground and pound from guard.
Li postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Li chips away with some ground and pound.
Holt keeping full guard, as Li tries to pass.
Holt looking for a sweep. Not yet Holt, not yet.
Li trying to control the position from guard on top but Holt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Li passes into half guard.
Holt wants to get back to full guard.
Li winds up and cracks Holt with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Li connects with a nice short shot to Holt's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, if Li is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Li lands strikes from half guard.
Li landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Li lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Holt quite badly. Holt pulls Li in close trying to recover. Li postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Holt on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Holt doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jin Li!
A very excited looking Jin Li made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
