Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, King Kong Jones!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jones takes a swing at Sanchez's ribcage but misses.
Jones shoots for a takedown but Sanchez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sanchez attempts a counter takedown but Jones avoids it well and moves away.
Jones tries to clinch up
and Sanchez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Sanchez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sanchez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sanchez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Paul Sanchez was interviewed post fight and said 'Ts a shame that I keep losing, I’ll improve…eventually. Either that or I’ll drown in the waters I bring my opponents in when I win. I’ll see yall.'.
