Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hermio Junior (ranked 561 p4p, 706 weight class) and Brownie Anderson (ranked 77 p4p, 97 weight class). Anderson has chosen Iron man as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hermio Junior!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brownie Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Anderson. No joy for Junior on that attempt.
Anderson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Junior fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Junior shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Anderson as he avoids it easily.
Junior looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hermio Junior. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Junior feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Anderson looking for a sweep. Not yet Anderson, not yet.
Junior stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anderson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Junior postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Anderson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Junior, into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Junior has his foot on Anderson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Anderson works his way back into a safe position though.

Anderson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Junior, up you get!
Hermio Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Anderson! But no joy.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Junior.
Anderson sneaks out the side door and pushes Junior away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Junior looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Anderson is fending him off so far but Junior persists. Nope, Anderson circles away and we're back to standing.
Anderson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

and Anderson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Anderson counters with a three punch combo that has Junior backing up. Junior nods at Anderson to acknowledge the strikes.

Junior throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Anderson's waist but Anderson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Junior off to one side.

and Anderson counters with a nice uppercut.
Junior looks to score with a jab to the body but Anderson is just out of range.
Junior misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Anderson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Anderson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

and Junior takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Brownie Anderson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Anderson scores with a jab. Junior acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anderson lands a left and a right that send Junior crashing to the mat, dazed. Anderson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Junior is rocked!
Anderson lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Junior can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Anderson and Junior drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Anderson.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brownie Anderson!
