Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Trevor Wallis!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wallis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Wallis drops back looking for a leg! Slobovic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Slobovic manages to kick Wallis off! Wallis jumps back into Slobovic's guard.

Slobovic is looking to regain half guard here but Wallis keeps moving and retains side control.
Slobovic is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Wallis is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Slobovic is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Wallis.

Wallis controlling the position well here. Slobovic rolled but Wallis kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Wallis has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Wallis throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.

Slobovic is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Wallis gets his way!

Wallis keeps control of the position easily here as Slobovic tries to buck him off.
Wallis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Wallis is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Slobovic wants to control his opponent's hands but Wallis gets his hands free.

Wallis is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Wallis gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Wallis gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Wallis apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Slobovic moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Wallis takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Wallis scores with the left hand. Slobovic knows he should have avoided that one.

Wallis darts in and clinches Slobovic up against the cage.
Wallis is looking to break free of the clinch but Slobovic has double underhooks.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Wallis shoots in and drives through. Slobovic sprawls well.
Wallis checks the leg kick nicely there.
Wallis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slobovic but Slobovic pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Wallis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Slobovic to the ground. Wallis is now in Slobovic's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wallis wants to sweep here but Slobovic controlling him for the moment.
Slobovic looking to sit in guard and control but Wallis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Slobovic wants to hit a sweep here but Wallis passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Slobovic there!

Slobovic has hold of Wallis's leg, trying to break free but it's let Wallis lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Slobovic is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Wallis throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
