Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Harrison (ranked 253 p4p, 116 weight class) and Kaito Tanaka (ranked 16 p4p, 17 weight class). Harrison comes to the cage accompanied by All of the Above. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Kaito Tanaka!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka wants to clinch
and Harrison counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tanaka throws a big shot that misses.
Harrison wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Harrison takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Harrison cracks Tanaka with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Harrison. Tanaka does a little dance to reset his feet.
Michael Harrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters circling - Tanaka throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Harrison throws a series of punches but Tanaka moves out of range.

We've been told by Harrison's head coaches at Banzai Combat Academy LA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tanaka fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Harrison swats away the attempt to clinch by Tanaka.
Tanaka connects with a superb combination that knocks Harrison out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Tanaka before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Harrison!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kaito Tanaka!
A relieved looking Kaito Tanaka thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
