Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pascal Popper (ranked 1519 p4p, 675 weight class) and Jerome Browning (ranked 197 p4p, 93 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pascal Popper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jerome Browning! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Popper throws an overhand right that lands on Browning's shoulder, as Browning tries to avoid the shot. Popper definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Popper misses the jab. Browning connects with a single shot there. Browning throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Popper throwing a counter right hand but Browning manages to avoid it. A big left from Popper misses. Popper ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Browning moves away. Browning takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A telegraphed right hand from Browning misses the target. Browning tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Popper swivels and escapes. Popper misses with an uppercut. Browning throws a poor cross that misses
and Popper connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Browning shoots for a double leg takedown but Popper sprawls well. He's pushed Browning's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Popper throws a shot from downtown. Browning moves away and avoids it. Popper was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Popper stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Popper wants it to stay on the feet. Popper throwing a counter right hand but Browning manages to avoid it. Browning dives in and grabs Popper's left leg, looking for a takedown. Popper pushes down on Browning's head and hops out. Popper just misses with a punch to the body.
Popper connects with a single shot there. Jerome Browning seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Browning takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Popper walks into a left hand. Popper throws a jab when Browning was well out of range. Browning slips a jab from Popper. Browning scores with a sloppy right hand. Popper should have avoided that one. Browning drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Browning is looking to work some ground and pound but Popper has wrist control. Browning looking to sit in guard and control but Popper gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Browning not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Popper is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Browning is pulling down on Popper's head to control his posture. Browning had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Popper defends it easily.

Pascal Popper dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Browning slips under a jab. Popper displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Browning throws out the jab. Browning keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Popper. and Popper cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Browning looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Popper! Jerome Browning has got the better of the ground game so far. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Popper stops Browning from passing to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Browning postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Browning is looking to take a break and control but Popper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Popper takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Browning is staying tight to Popper's torso, preventing him from escaping. Popper avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Browning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Popper tries to bench press Browning off him but Browning keeps the position. Browning cracks Popper with an elbow. That is naaassty. Browning wants to control but Popper is keeping him busy. Popper on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Browning throws a strike aimed at the side of Popper's head but Popper avoids it well. Let's hope that Browning has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Browning throwing shots but Popper is blocking nicely. Browning moves nicely into side control. Sloppy strikes there by Browning. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Check out the look on Browning's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Browning gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Popper counter with a right hand. Popper swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Browning shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Browning showed some decent athleticism there. Browning lands strikes from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Browning is figuring out what he wants to do next. Browning throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Browning thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Browning thows a huge punch but Popper dodges it nicely.
Browning looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Browning thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Popper's head. Browning throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Browning is looking to take a break and control but Popper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Browning landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Browning missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Browning is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Browning has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Browning landing strikes, looking to finish! Browning takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Popper holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Browning tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Popper is rocked! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Browning lands a big shot to the head and Popper winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
