Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Joao Antonio Ferriera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aden Parker!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ferriera.
Ferriera tries to clinch there but Parker circles away.

Ferriera seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Parker throws a lazy right hand but Ferriera sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Ferriera instigates a clinch.

A head punch on the inside from Parker fails to land.
Parker lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ferriera backwards.
Parker's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferriera is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Parker to keep the fight standing.

Ferriera has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Parker uses from the top position.

Ferriera is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Parker is aware though and is defending well.

Ferriera had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Parker defends it easily.

Ferriera has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Parker is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ferriera.
Parker takes a little break here. Ferriera wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Ferriera really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Parker.

Ferriera is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Parker is defending well though. Ferriera let's go of the attempt for now.

Ferriera is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Parker is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ferriera swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Parker is now in Ferriera's guard. A big mistake from Ferriera there, giving up the dominant position!
Ferriera is trying to control the position but Parker postures up.
Parker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ferriera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ferriera has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Parker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A close round but Aden Parker will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Ferriera bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Parker misses with a head kick.
Parker walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ferriera checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Parker throws the left hand but Ferriera avoids the punch easily.
Parker fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Ferriera moves in looking to clinch but Parker pushes him off.
Ferriera is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker misses with the head strike.
Ferriera jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Parker walks away with a smile on his face. Ferriera gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ferriera takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ferriera tries to clinch but Parker moves out of range.
Ferriera fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ferriera tries to close the distance and clinch up but Parker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Look low, kick high! Parker uses the oldest trick in the book to send Ferriera tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Parker is absolutely delighted - when Ferriera wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Aden Parker!
