The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rockmuller drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hunter manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rockmuller has Hunter in his guard.

Hunter has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Rockmuller tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hunter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The referee asks Hunter politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hunter prefers to stall for the moment though.

Hunter seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Rockmuller is holding on tight.
Hunter tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hunter manages to capitalize on a mistake by Rockmuller to take his back!

Hunter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hunter controlling the position well here. Rockmuller rolled but Hunter kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

I really don't envy Rockmuller right now.
Hunter has good solid back control here.
Rockmuller tries to escape but Hunter has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Hunter is riding his opponent, not letting Rockmuller buck him off.
Rockmuller is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Hunter just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Hunter's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Rockmuller is really stuck here.

Rockmuller tries to escape but Hunter has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Hunter has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Rockmuller's body.
Rockmuller trying to control the hands but Hunter won't let him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Hunter takes the fight on points by 11 to 2.
