The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Complex throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bear was covering up waiting for the punch and Complex finishes the takedown easily into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Bear (0) vs (2) Complex
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Let's hope that Complex has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bear has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

It looks like Complex might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
