This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Ethan Bear! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 3 losses; Hero Complex! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and John Roberts.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Complex throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bear was covering up waiting for the punch and Complex finishes the takedown easily into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Bear (0) vs (2) Complex We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Complex trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Complex sitting in guard, not really doing much. Complex looking to pass the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Complex wants to pass to mount but Bear is defending the position. Complex sitting and controlling from the half guard. Bear wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Complex trying to pass the guard but Bear defending well. Bear is in trouble now - Complex has advanced to mount! Score +3 for passing guard: Bear (0) vs (5) Complex Bear is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Complex has taken his back.

That's five minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Complex has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Complex controlling well, preventing Bear from escaping the position.
Bear has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Good control from Complex. Bear tries to escape the position.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Complex's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's eleven minutes gone in the round. It looks like Complex might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Bear tries to escape the position.

That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Yet more stalling tactics from Complex. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
