And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 17 losses; Benjamin Sisko! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Odimabesser pushes Sisko up against the cage in a clinch. Sisko drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sisko can't get the takedown.
Odimabesser jumps guard but Sisko stands there with Odimabesser around his waist. Odimabesser gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Odimabesser fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Sisko has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Odimabesser after a bit of a struggle. Kanud Odimabesser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benjamin Sisko. Odimabesser tries to pull guard but Sisko holds him up against the cage and eventually Odimabesser drops back down to his feet.
Sisko turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sisko manages to end up in side control. It looks like Sisko might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Odimabesser can't do much from the bottom here.
