Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cam Cartwright (ranked 1626 p4p, 1261 weight class) and Kane Thoupos (ranked 188 p4p, 153 weight class). Cartwright comes to the cage accompanied by Karma Chameleon. Thoupos has chosen 151 Rum - JID as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Cartwright catches Thoupos right on the button with a cross.
Cartwright misses with a head kick.
Thoupos throws a fast counter high kick but Cartwright manages to duck under it in time.
Cartwright throws a series of punches but Thoupos moves out of range.
Thoupos throws out a loose jab but Cartwright uses good head movement to avoid it.

Cartwright tries to grapple but his opponent circles
letting Thoupos counter with a right hand.

Cartwright shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Thoupos sprawls well. Thoupos wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cartwright gets slowly back to his feet.

Cam Cartwright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thoupos throws a hook to the side of Cartwright's head but Cartwright sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thoupos feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cartwright sprawling to the canvas! Cartwright rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Thoupos finish him?!
Cartwright is rocked!
Thoupos drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Cartwright's head, knocking him out cold! Thoupos is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
