Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gen Tenryu (ranked 2577 p4p, 2373 weight class) and Adam Orel (ranked 279 p4p, 256 weight class). Tenryu comes into the arena with piri & tommy - on & on blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tenryu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Orel.
Tenryu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Orel bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tenryu's head backwards.

Orel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tenryu, pushing him back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Orel is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tenryu.

Orel might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

That was a close round but I would say that Gen Tenryu will probably get the nod.

Tenryu drops Orel with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Orel looks back up at him and smiles so Tenryu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Orel is still on wobbly legs! Can Tenryu finish him?
Tenryu throws a pinpoint strike between Orel's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Orel crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Tenryu scores a great knockout victory!

An out of breath Gen Tenryu thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
