The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Mcgillicutty defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lauzon. Lauzon shoots in for a double leg but Mcgillicutty sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mcgillicutty closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Mcgillicutty (4) vs (0) Lauzon Lauzon being controlled for a moment. Lauzon wants to control but Mcgillicutty postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A lull in the action here as Mcgillicutty stalls from top position.
