And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 30 wins and 38 losses; Dragon Li Chai! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Chai changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Borgia looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Borgia (0) vs (4) Chai Chai trying to control the action but Borgia is working from the bottom. Chai working away. Borgia has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Chai is looking to take a break and control but Borgia is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Borgia is trying to escape the position but Chai is controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Borgia tries to improve position but can't. Borgia is trying to control Chai's posture but Chai avoids it.
