Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sean O Rally (ranked 2568 p4p, 4201 weight class) and Triton Koski (ranked 170 p4p, 229 weight class). Triton Koski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean O Rally!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Triton Koski!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koski is looking to chop away at O Rally's legs.
O Rally throws the left hand but Koski avoids the punch easily.
Koski fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt O Rally.

Koski drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Koski working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

O Rally looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
O Rally is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
O Rally utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
O Rally pulls Koski in close to prevent any damage.
Koski postures up and lands a big shot to O Rally's brow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

O Rally had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Koski defends it easily.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
O Rally pulls Koski in close to his closed guard and prevents Koski from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
O Rally throws a series of punches but Koski avoids them all with ease.

Koski drives through and clinches with O Rally against the cage.
Koski misses with a hook to the ribs.
O Rally drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
O Rally is trying to break the clinch but Koski has him pressed against the cage.
O Rally drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Koski gets the underhooks and prevents it.
O Rally has a couple of punches blocked by Koski.
O Rally misses with a short punch on the inside.
Koski tries to work over O Rally's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Koski has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. O Rally avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Koski has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but O Rally regains guard immediately.

O Rally has his foot on Koski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Koski works his way back into a safe position though.

Koski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Koski wants to control from the top but O Rally keeps moving.
O Rally is trying to control the position from the bottom.

O Rally working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Koski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Koski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
O Rally seems keen to control Koski's posture.
O Rally can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Koski controls the pace.

The fight stays on the outside here - Koski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

O Rally jabbing away but nothing is landing.
O Rally uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Koski.
Koski steps to the side to avoid the strikes from O Rally.
Koski thumps O Rally with a low kick.
Koski swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Koski fails with the takedown
and O Rally cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Koski looks to land a combination but O Rally avoids it well.

O Rally is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Koski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
O Rally moves out of range of the strikes.
O Rally just misses with a punch to the body.
Koski looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
O Rally misses with a straight right.

and O Rally counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
O Rally shoots for a double leg takedown but Koski sprawls well. He's pushed O Rally's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and O Rally counters with a three punch combo that has Koski backing up. Koski nods at O Rally to acknowledge the strikes.
O Rally connects with a right hand. Koski shakes it off.
Koski throws a quick head kick that skims the top of O Rally's head.
Koski looks to throw the jab but O Rally is out of range.
O Rally jabs Koski to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Koski ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Koski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Koski follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

O Rally throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Koski tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. O Rally is in Koski's guard.

Koski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. O Rally manages to get himself to full guard.

O Rally is pulling down on Koski's head. It's preventing any offense from Koski, at least for the moment.

Koski arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! O Rally's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 9:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Triton Koski!
After winning the bout, Triton Koski thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
