Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terrell Knight (ranked 303 p4p, 791 weight class) and Nicholas Sartre (ranked 43 p4p, 109 weight class). Knight comes to the cage accompanied by HonestKey- Keep Fightin'. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Terrell Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nicholas Sartre! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knight thows a left - swing and a miss! Sartre tries to clinch but Knight moves away and Knight cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Knight throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sartre looks like he wants to counter punch here. Sartre throws a body punch but Knight moves out of range. Knight tries to counter with a takedown but Sartre is quick to defend against it. Sartre with a jab. Knight misses with a double jab.
Knight takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sartre misses with a right hand letting Knight counter with a right hand. Knight closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Knight throws a lazy uppercut
and Sartre decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Knight's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Knight looking for a sweep. Not yet Knight, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight is working hard here to advance position. Sartre trying to control but Knight is working from the bottom. My spies in Animal Fight Club inform me that Sartre has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Knight is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sartre dives into side control.
Knight wants to control but Sartre postures up. Knight tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sartre is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Knight is trying to escape and Sartre transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Knight is forced to tap! Nice work there by Sartre! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Nicholas Sartre! After winning the bout, Nicholas Sartre thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
