Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Reagan Skinner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Calvin Brakes!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skinner throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Brakes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Skinner sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Brakes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Skinner is fending him off so far but Brakes persists. Nope, Skinner circles away and we're back to standing.
Brakes with a lazy takedown attempt
and Skinner counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Reagan Skinner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Calvin Brakes.
Brakes dives in and grabs Skinner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Skinner pushes down on Brakes's head and hops out.
Skinner cracks Brakes with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Brakes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Skinner counters with a huge left! Brakes is in big trouble! He's backing up but Skinner isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Brakes from any more damage. A dominating finish by Skinner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reagan Skinner!
