Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Panda Cuchi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonathan Hong!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong avoids the body shot from Cuchi.
Hong is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Hong looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Cuchi takes a swing at Hong's ribcage but misses.
Cuchi scores with a jab to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cuchi. Hong does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hong slips under a jab from Cuchi.
Cuchi tries to clinch but Hong moves out of range.
Cuchi misses the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cuchi scores with a jab to the jaw.

Cuchi connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hong. Hong circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cuchi tries to close the distance and clinch but Hong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cuchi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hong gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cuchi.
Cuchi lands a jab to Hong's midsection.
Cuchi cracks Hong with a right hand to the side of the head.
Cuchi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hong at a distance.
Cuchi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cuchi punishes Hong's body with a nice straight punch.
Cuchi lands a big uppercut and Hong crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hong looks OK. Cuchi waves Hong back to his feet!
Hong is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hong gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Cuchi gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Panda Cuchi!
