Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arturo Tasis!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A head kick by Tasis misses
and Meyers counters by moving into the clinch.
Tasis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Meyers counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tasis thinking.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Meyers jumps into guard, dragging Tasis to the mat.
Meyers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tasis's guard.

Meyers is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Meyers scores with a big shot! Tasis's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Tasis! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
