Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Grant (ranked 2375 p4p, 3215 weight class) and Levi Antero (ranked 242 p4p, 323 weight class). Grant kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ain't It Funny. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Antero has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Antero shoots in for a takedown but Grant shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Grant counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

A little feinted left hand from Grant on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Antero looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Grant throws a big counter combination but Antero scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

and Grant scores with a counter punch that sends Antero to the canvas! Grant smells blood - he's punishing Antero with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Antero has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
