Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hunter Cisneros!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brendon Smith!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cisneros shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Smith wants to clinch but Cisneros slips to the side
and Cisneros counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Brendon Smith has been cut.
Smith gets the takedown into side control.
Smith happy to just control the position for now.
Cisneros tries to improve position but can't.
Cisneros is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Smith's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith slows the pace down in half guard.
Cisneros keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Smith content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Cisneros wants to control but Smith is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cisneros knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.
Smith thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Smith looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Smith is thwarting Cisneros's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cisneros holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Smith stands up from half guard.
Cisneros fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smith avoids it really well and circles away.
A slow jab from Cisneros misses its intended target.

Smith wants to clinch
and Cisneros counters with a nice right hand that sends Smith toppling to the canvas! Smith scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Cisneros finish him?!
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Cisneros shows good takedown defense.
Cisneros lands a nice shot to the body.
Smith misses with a combination
and Cisneros counters with a crisp right that sends Smith to the canvas! Cisneros follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
