Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jordan Soibler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Oda Ehino!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ehino misses with a head kick.
Ehino with a poor takedown
and Soibler counters with a stiff right hand.
Soibler misses with an uppercut. Ehino saw that one coming.
Ehino fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Soibler avoids it really well and circles away.
Soibler displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ehino.
Jordan Soibler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oda Ehino.
Soibler throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ehino sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ehino misses with a two punch combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Soibler lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Ehino clinches with his opponent.
Ehino slows down the pace here.
A body shot lands from Ehino.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ehino can't get the takedown.
Ehino digs a right hand underneath Soibler's ribcage. Soibler let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Ehino keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Soibler's efforts to push away.
Soibler is trying to drag Ehino to the mat but Ehino just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ehino with a knee to the head.
Ehino ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ehino no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Ehino pulls Soibler in close to his closed guard and prevents Soibler from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ehino is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Soibler dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ehino is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Soibler's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Soibler! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Ehino has tapped! This one is allllll over!
