Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rohan Peters (ranked 3460 p4p, 4235 weight class) and Geraldo Hernandez (ranked 337 p4p, 393 weight class). The key to victory for Rohan Peters has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rohan Peters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Geraldo Hernandez!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Peters uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hernandez has time to react.

Peters gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hernandez to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Peters is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hernandez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hernandez's back!
I really don't envy Hernandez right now.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rohan Peters will probably get the nod.

Peters cracks Hernandez with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Peters will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hernandez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Peters is fending him off so far but Hernandez persists. Nope, Peters circles away and we're back to standing.
Peters was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peters fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hernandez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Peters, as that shot connected.

Hernandez closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Peters slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Peters connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hernandez. Hernandez circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Peters throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Peters has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Peters, as that shot connected.

Hernandez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hernandez takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Hernandez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Peters rushes Hernandez with punches - Hernandez moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Hernandez goes down! Peters follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rohan Peters!
