Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Petr Slukowski (ranked 3810 p4p, 25433 weight class) and Akira Matsuda (ranked 319 p4p, 0 weight class). Petr Slukowski could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Akira Matsuda's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Petr Slukowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Matsuda! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slukowski scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Petr Slukowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slukowski works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Slukowski bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Matsuda! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Matsuda is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Slukowski is stalling in the full guard. Matsuda is still in real trouble! Can Slukowski finish him? Slukowski is looking to work some ground and pound but Matsuda has wrist control. Slukowski throwing strikes but missing. Slukowski looking to pass the guard. Matsuda seems to have recovered his senses. Slukowski working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Slukowski drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Matsuda manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Slukowski has Matsuda in his guard. Slukowski is trying to control the position but Matsuda postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slukowski looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Matsuda has picked Slukowski up and slammed him! Slukowski can't keep hold of the triangle and Matsuda manages to pass to side control! Matsuda tries to advance to mount but Slukowski denies him. Slukowski is trying to improve his position. Slukowski is working hard here to advance position. Slukowski sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Matsuda working the head and body with strikes. Slukowski looking for submissions off his back. Matsuda stalling. Slukowski wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slukowski trying to hold on to Matsuda's head to control him but Matsuda postures up.
Slukowski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Slukowski preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Slukowski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Matsuda is working away from the top position though. Slukowski looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Slukowski actively working from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matsuda prevents Slukowski from improving his position. Matsuda trying to control from half guard but Slukowski is working away.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Petr Slukowski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Slukowski lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Matsuda closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Matsuda walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Slukowski throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Matsuda counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We've been informed that Matsuda has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Matsuda looks winded! Slukowski moves into full guard.
Matsuda tries to free his leg and advance position but Slukowski is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slukowski trying to control the position.
Matsuda drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Matsuda jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Matsuda looking to sit in guard and control but Slukowski gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Slukowski trying to control the position from guard on top but Matsuda is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Slukowski controls from within his opponent's guard. Slukowski forces his way into half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Petr Slukowski dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Slukowski lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Matsuda goes down and covers up as Slukowski starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Petr Slukowski!
