Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michel Blanc (ranked 2445 p4p, 2626 weight class) and Ricardo Cruz (ranked 291 p4p, 315 weight class). Michel Blanc has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Michel Blanc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ricardo Cruz!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Blanc checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Cruz closes the distance and pushes Blanc back into the cage.
Cruz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cruz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Cruz is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Blanc slows down the pace here.
Blanc misses with a punch on the inside.
Cruz is trying to drag Blanc to the mat but Blanc just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Blanc misses with a hook from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cruz is trying to pull guard but Blanc has him pressed against the cage.

Cruz is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Blanc gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Michel Blanc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Cruz.

Cruz blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Cruz tries to score a body lock takedown but Blanc shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Blanc tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cruz avoids it.
Cruz has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Blanc clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Blanc is trying to shake Cruz off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Cruz won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.
Cruz throws a low kick but Blanc avoids it.
Blanc throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Cruz bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Blanc's head backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blanc throws a leg kick which misses Cruz's front leg but catches the back leg as Cruz tries to avoid it.
Cruz avoids a kick to the body.
Cruz shoots and misses
and Blanc connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Blanc doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Cruz stuns Blanc with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Cruz punishes Blanc's body with a nice straight punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cruz. Blanc does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cruz misses with a takedown
and Blanc counters with a huge left! Cruz is in big trouble! He's backing up but Blanc isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Cruz from any more damage. A dominating finish by Blanc!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michel Blanc!
