Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Kush Kezman (ranked 4868 p4p, 5041 weight class) and Luis De Teixiera (ranked 445 p4p, 457 weight class). De Teixiera has chosen Starry Starry Night - Don Mclean as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kush Kezman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Luis De Teixiera! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Darius Henderson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Teixiera looks to clinch and Kezman counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. De Teixiera misses with a few strikes there.
Kezman misses the shot to the body. Kezman waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract De Teixiera. Kezman throws a hook to the side of De Teixiera's head but De Teixiera sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kezman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kezman throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kezman tried to score with a low kick but De Teixiera checks it. De Teixiera scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A shot to the body from De Teixiera misses and Kezman counters with a series of strikes. De Teixiera will be more careful next time no doubt. Kezman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
As De Teixiera backs away, Kezman returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. De Teixiera swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kezman. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kezman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from De Teixiera.
De Teixiera closes the distance looking to clinch and Kezman counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kezman scores with a push kick. Kezman gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A slapping body kick lands there for Kezman. Kezman throws a poor cross that misses
and De Teixiera counters with a straight right hand. A telegraphed right hand from De Teixiera misses the target. It looked like Kezman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. De Teixiera throws a lazy right hand but Kezman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kezman jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Kezman connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kezman cracks De Teixiera with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! De Teixiera is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and De Teixiera is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
It looks like Luis De Teixiera has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! De Teixiera walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Kezman rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but De Teixiera has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.
De Teixiera is rocked! Luis De Teixiera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De Teixiera looks to land a right hand but Kezman moved out of range. Kezman throws a hook to the side of De Teixiera's head but De Teixiera sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. De Teixiera connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kezman momentarily.
Kezman lets loose with a powerful body kick. De Teixiera will feel that in the morning. De Teixiera looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kezman defending well as De Teixiera loads up on a big left hand. Kezman avoids the head kick by De Teixiera.
As De Teixiera backs away, Kezman returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Kezman connects with a beautiful left hand that drops De Teixiera onto his butt! De Teixiera bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action. De Teixiera fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Kezman counters with a nice uppercut. De Teixiera misses with a leg kick and Kezman counters with a nice uppercut that drops De Teixiera onto his backside! De Teixiera bounces straight back to his feet before we have a chance to even start the count. He'll get the standing 8 count anyway before we get back underway. De Teixiera is still on wobbly legs! Can Kezman finish him? Kezman throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. De Teixiera seems to have recovered his senses. De Teixiera is looking to clinch. A head kick from De Teixiera lands but Kezman takes it in his stride. De Teixiera walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Kezman rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but De Teixiera has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action. Kezman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kezman feinted there with a counter leg kick. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! De Teixiera walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Kezman! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kush Kezman! A relieved looking Kush Kezman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
