Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Frota (ranked 2156 p4p, 3845 weight class) and Scott Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 422 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frota throws a body punch but Walker moves out of range.
Walker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Walker doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Walker has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Frota finds it's way round the side to connect with Walker's head.

Walker moves forwards but Frota connects with a nice, crisp jab.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Walker will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Walker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Walker takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Walker slips a straight right by Frota.
Frota fails to land with a series of punches.
Frota bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Walker's head backwards.
Frota misses with a looping right.
Walker shoots in for a takedown but Frota shows good takedown defense.
Frota throws a hook but Walker blocks it.
Walker looks to score with a jab to the body but Frota is just out of range.
Frota misses with the combination.
Frota is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Frota works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Sloppy strikes from Walker. Those never looked like landing.
Walker dives in and scores a takedown into Frota's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Walker seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Frota wants to stand up but Walker is controlling him.

Walker passes easily into side control. Nice work.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Walker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Frota keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walker with the ground and pound but Frota uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Walker sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Frota's guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Alex Frota will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Frota knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Walker on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walker looks up at the clock and then as Frota takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Walker smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Walker cracks Frota with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Walker immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Frota is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Walker!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Walker!
