Ortega has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ortega is in close to Sawyer's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sawyer has momentary wrist control but Ortega slips an elbow through the middle.

Ortega drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Ortega as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Sawyer screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Ortega! Nice submission victory there!
