The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hughes.

Hughes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fontaine, who protects the arm well.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Fontaine wants to control from the top but Hughes keeps moving.

Hughes pushes a forearm under Fontaine's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Fontaine is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
