Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Scoob Doob (ranked 3777 p4p, 3827 weight class) and Ivan Bernados (ranked 320 p4p, 295 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scoob Doob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Bernados! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bernados tries to keep at a distance but Doob has taken the fight into the clinch. Doob really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bernados stalling the fight.
Doob content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Bernados gets control of Doob's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bernados will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bernados wants to sweep but no luck. Doob trying to control but Bernados is working from the bottom. Bernados has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Bernados looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doob controlling from the top position. Bernados has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Doob can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bernados has his foot on Doob's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Doob works his way back into a safe position though. Bernados had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Doob defends it easily. Doob will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bernados looking to control.

Bernados defending well as Doob loads up on a big left hand. Bernados is looking for the big counter here. Bernados fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Doob avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Doob as Bernados shoots in. Bernados tries to close the distance and clinch up but Doob swats him away and circles back towards the center. Doob is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Bernados tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Doob paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bernados tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bernados closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bernados wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Doob, who protects the arm well. This has been an exciting period of action! Bernados working the ground and pound but Doob is defending the strikes. Doob is trying to control Bernados's posture but Bernados avoids it. Bernados swings around for an armbar but Doob sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bernados's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bernados looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Bernados trying to keep a closed guard but Doob is proving a slippery customer.
Doob seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bernados is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Doob defends well. Doob trying to control but Bernados is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Doob is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bernados is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Bernados is trying to control the position but Doob postures up. Doob has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Doob controlling from the top position. Doob working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bernados is trying to keep Doob in close.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Doob trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bernados being controlled here, momentarily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ivan Bernados will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Bernados shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bernados shoots in for a takedown but Doob shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bernados has his takedown stuffed and Doob counters by clinching up. Scoob Doob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Bernados. Doob jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bernados walks away with a smile on his face. Doob gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Doob fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bernados to the ground. Doob is now in Bernados's guard. Doob is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bernados can do to turn this around? Bernados wants to hit a sweep here but Doob passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bernados there! Bernados wants to control but Doob is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doob prevents Bernados from getting the reversal. Scoob Doob overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bernados trying to control the position but Doob manages to sink in the hooks. Doob has managed to slip his arm under Bernados's chin. This could be all over... yep, Bernados is tapping out! Submission win for Doob.
