Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Harri Virtanen (ranked 3426 p4p, 5227 weight class) and Darnell Notts (ranked 274 p4p, 340 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Harri Virtanen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Darnell Notts!
The judges for this bout are Roosa J�rvil�inen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnem�ki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Virtanen instigates a clinch.
Notts goes for a takedown in the clinch but Virtanen prevents it.
Virtanen jumps into guard, dragging Notts to the mat.
Virtanen keeping moving, preventing Notts from controlling successfully.
Notts stands and steps away. Virtanen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Notts tries for a takedown but Virtanen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Notts will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Harri Virtanen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darnell Notts.
Notts throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Virtanen's waist but Virtanen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Notts off to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Notts has taken the fight to the clinch.
Notts tries to pull guard but Virtanen won't allow it.
Virtanen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Virtanen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Notts really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Virtanen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Virtanen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Notts's face.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Notts can't escape the position.
Notts is still trying to improve position.
Virtanen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Virtanen has closed the distance and engaged Notts in a clinch.
Virtanen gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Virtanen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Notts is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Virtanen has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Notts content to control rather than advance.

Notts drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Virtanen dives on top into guard.

Virtanen jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Notts manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Notts gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Notts is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Virtanen locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Notts is forced to tap!
