Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacob Song! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Song tries to clinch up. A little feinted left hand from Mejia on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Song forces Mejia back against the cage and clinches. Song lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mejia backwards. Song blocking some punches.
Mejia lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Song backwards. Song working some nice short punches in the clinch.
It looks like Misael Mejia has been cut. Song lands a right hand that snaps the head of Mejia backwards. Song misses with the head strike.
Mejia breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mejia moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Mejia looks to land a right hand but Song moved out of range. Song tries to clinch but Mejia is having none of it. Mejia will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Song tries to clinch up but Mejia circles away and keeps his distance. Song gets in close and instigates a clinch. Song blocks a body shot from Mejia. Song tries a body shot but Mejia blocks it.

Mejia lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Mejia throws out a loose jab but Song uses good head movement to avoid it. Song fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mejia could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
