Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Savion Mora (ranked 3338 p4p, 3386 weight class) and Max Desmond (ranked 260 p4p, 262 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Savion Mora!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Desmond!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Mora. Desmond does a little dance to reset his feet.
Desmond throws out a counter right but Mora avoids it with no problem.
Desmond thows a leg kick but Mora checks it
and Mora counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Desmond swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mora.
Desmond misses with a hook
enabling Mora to counter with a crisp jab.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Desmond has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Mora throws a lazy right hand but Desmond sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Desmond throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Desmond takes a swing at Mora's ribcage but misses.
Desmond swings widly with a right hand
and Mora counters with a nice uppercut.
Desmond is rocked!
Mora wobbles Desmond with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Mora dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Desmond to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Savion Mora!
