Clark's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sweet Home Alabama. Washington is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: King Crimson - Sleepless. Douglas Clark could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rudolf Washington's chin.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Washington shoots in looking for a takedown. Clark tries to sprawl out of it but Washington keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Clark manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Clark fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Washington looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Clark and Washington goes tumbling to the canvas! Clark follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
