Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adim Bulb (ranked 4223 p4p, 4063 weight class) and Alejandro Laguera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bulb's entrance music is Breaking Benjamin - Lights Out. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adim Bulb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alejandro Laguera! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laguera scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. You can see the frustration on Bulb's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bulb tries to bench press Laguera off him but Laguera keeps the position. Bulb holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Laguera tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. We've been hearing good reports from Bulb's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Bulb can't do much from the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bulb is looking to regain half guard here but Laguera keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Laguera thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bulb struggling a bit here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bulb is trying to get back to half guard. Laguera working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Bulb tries to buck Laguera off but Laguera is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bulb is not content to let Laguera control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bulb looks to land a combination but Laguera avoids it well. Laguera shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Laguera showed some decent athleticism there. Bulb is trying to get back to full guard. Bulb controlling the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bulb wants to control but Laguera is keeping busy.
Bulb looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Bulb is concentrating on defense, preventing Laguera from advancing position. Laguera is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bulb is just riding it out for now. Laguera eventually gives up the hold. Bulb is trying to control but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Laguera is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bulb has managed to free his arm - good work. Laguera trying to control from Bulb's half guard. Bulb has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Bulb wants to sweep but no luck. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bulb keeping full guard, as Laguera tries to pass. Bulb trying to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Alejandro Laguera dominated that round. That's time! Bulb's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. A looping hook to the body misses from Bulb. Laguera does a little dance to reset his feet. Bulb throws a body shot but no joy. Laguera's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bulb connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Laguera scrambles back to his feet. Laguera keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bulb. Bulb misses with a hook. Bulb throws a leg kick which misses Laguera's front leg but catches the back leg as Laguera tries to avoid it. Excellent takedown into side control there by Laguera. Bulb tries to improve position but can't. Bulb struggling a bit here. Alejandro Laguera has got the better of the ground game so far. That's three minutes gone in the round. Bulb is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Laguera trying to control the position from guard on top but Bulb is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bulb is trying to hold Laguera in close to prevent damage but Laguera has managed to pass into half guard.
Laguera has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Still in half guard, Laguera seems content to control. Bulb makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bulb. Laguera sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bulb's guard. Bulb trying to control but Laguera postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Laguera prevents Bulb from improving his position. Bulb trying to control here.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Laguera looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Alejandro Laguera showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

No, Bulb has escaped the position, nice work there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Laguera has hold of Bulb's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Bulb seems comfortable defending it but Laguera has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Bulb is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bulb is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Laguera couldn't care less - he's delighted!
