The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindsey shoots in for a double leg but Gudmundsson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lindsey tries to clinch
and Gudmundsson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lindsey misses with a takedown attempt - Gudmundsson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lindsey or perhaps it was just good defense by Gudmundsson, which made it look bad.
Gudmundsson was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Oskar Gudmundsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucian Lindsey.

A quick step to the side and Gudmundsson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Gudmundsson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Gudmundsson fakes the body blow, causing Lindsey to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Lindsey goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
