Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Abram Frost (ranked 2825 p4p, 3216 weight class) and Datsuro Sato (ranked 258 p4p, 293 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Abram Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Datsuro Sato! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sato misses with a two punch combination.
Frost seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. A punch combination from Sato misses. Sato lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Sato lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Sato tries to bum rush Frost with a series of wild strikes but Frost uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Frost uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sato. Frost clinches with his opponent.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Sato tries to pull guard but Frost holds him up against the cage and eventually Sato drops back down to his feet.
Frost lands an elbow inside. Frost misses with a knee to the head. Sato is trying to break the clinch but Frost has him pressed against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Frost definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A decent looking cross lands there for Sato. Sato misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Frost seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. The fighters circling - Sato throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sato throws a right and a left that both miss. Sato throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Sato misses its intended target. Frost tries to counter by clinching up but Sato breaks away and moves out of range. No joy there for Sato, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sato lands with an uppercut that bounces Frost off the cage and back into range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Frost showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sato.
Sato misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Frost tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Sato manages to circle out of the way. A big right from Sato misses. Frost wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Sato shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Frost eats them both and turns towards Sato to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Sato misses with a series of wild punches.
Sato throws a right hand that Frost ducks under and follows up with a left that Frost also avoids with ease. Sato jabs at Frost's body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Sato. Sato throws a body punch but Frost moves out of range. Sato scores with a nice head shot. Frost keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Frost seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Sato misses with a looping right. Frost closes the distance and clinches. Sato looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Sato stalling in the clinch but Frost improves position. Frost pushes off an throws an elbow but Sato leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Frost landing some nice looking knees to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Frost lands a damaging elbow. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Frost obliges. A nice glancing elbow lands by Frost. This has been an exciting period of action! Sato is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Sato trying to control the position but instead, Frost has worked for underhooks and has pushed Sato into the cage. Sato blocks the elbow strike.

Datsuro Sato dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Sato throws a right and a left that Frost avoids nicely. Frost wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Frost rushes Sato and presses him up against the cage. Frost creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Sato's defenses. Sato on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
The referee is keeping an eye on Frost - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Sato is trying to pull guard but Frost turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Frost throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frost taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Frost lands a good knee to the midsection. Sato won't want to take too many of those. Frost lands an elbow inside that Sato shrugs off. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Sato. Frost manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Sato is looking to control Frost's arms but Frost gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sato has his back to the cage. Sato being controlled against the cage. Frost stalling against the cage.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Frost tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sato avoids it. Sato slows down the pace here.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Abram Frost dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Sato falls off balance throwing a combination
and Frost counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Frost. Sato managing to block the knees to the body from Frost.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Abram Frost. Sato lands with a nice combination. Frost backs away looking to recover. Left hook, right uppercut from Sato. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sato lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Sato connects with a good right hand that stumbles Frost. Frost circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sato, as that shot connected.
Datsuro Sato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Frost avoids a punch combination nicely.
Frost is looking to counter the offense by Sato and move into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sato connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Frost's hands. Frost takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. The fight stays on the outside here - Frost looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Datsuro Sato seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sato misses with a hook. Frost steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sato. Frost tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sato manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sato throws a lazy right hand but Frost sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Sato misses with a looping left. Sato looks to land a right hand but Frost moved out of range. Frost tries to counter by clinching up but Sato breaks away and moves out of range. Sato lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Frost backs up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frost gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Frost takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Frost. Frost trying to land knees to the body.
Sato is trying to maintain a safe position but Frost gets an underhook and turns Sato into the cage. Frost lands a nice knee to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Sato fails to pull the fight into his guard.
With the fighters up against the cage, Frost throws an elbow but misses. Frost taking a breather.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sato blocks the elbow strike.
Frost throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sato blocks it with crossed arms. Sato is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Frost to keep the fight standing. Sato tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Frost smiles and moves away.
Abram Frost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Datsuro Sato. Sato looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sato swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Frost holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Sato on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
