Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zackary Zimmerman (ranked 2444 p4p, 2316 weight class) and Ezekiel Benton (ranked 289 p4p, 272 weight class). Zimmerman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Remember The Name - Fort Minor. The key to victory for Zackary Zimmerman has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Benton has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Benton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Zimmerman was covering up waiting for the punch and Benton finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Zimmerman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Benton controls the pace.
It looks like Benton might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Zimmerman counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Benton badly! Zimmerman follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Benton out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Zimmerman finished him against the cage.
