Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xander Walls (ranked 2296 p4p, 2981 weight class) and Brenden Mcmillan (ranked 109 p4p, 127 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xander Walls! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brenden Mcmillan! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walls clobbers Mcmillan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Walls defending well as Mcmillan loads up on a big left hand. Mcmillan throws a big shot that misses. Walls tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Walls scores with a kick to the midsection. Walls fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mcmillan manages to avoid it. Nice defenses there by Mcmillan. Mcmillan throws out a counter right but Walls avoids it with no problem. Walls walks into a left hand. Walls lands a head kick. Mcmillan smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Mcmillan on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Mcmillan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Walls wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mcmillan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Walls.

Mcmillan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mcmillan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Walls scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Walls throws a head kick that misses. Mcmillan slips a jab from Walls. Mcmillan forces Walls back against the cage and clinches. Mcmillan lands a right hand. Still in the clinch, Mcmillan scores with a nice short uppercut. Walls blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mcmillan throws a punch but it's blocked by Walls. Walls lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mcmillan backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcmillan throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Mcmillan throws an elbow that misses.

The crowd cheers as Walls lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mcmillan doesn't seem phased though. Mcmillan throws a body shot but no joy. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Walls. Mcmillan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Walls. Walls looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Walls throws a jab but it's blocked by Mcmillan. Mcmillan checks a leg kick. Walls throws a head kick but Mcmillan moves out of range.

Mcmillan just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromWalls. Mcmillan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Walls. Mcmillan closes the distance and clinches. A head punch blocked on the inside by Walls. Walls blocks an uppercut.
Mcmillan is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Walls is defending well. Xander Walls has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brenden Mcmillan. Walls manages to break the clinch.

He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mcmillan to score with a decent uppercut. Mcmillan thows a left - swing and a miss! Mcmillan slips under a jab. Mcmillan misses with a looping left. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Walls misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mcmillan takes one on the button. Walls throws a head kick that misses. Mcmillan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Walls. Mcmillan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mcmillan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xander Walls dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Mcmillan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brenden Mcmillan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mcmillan throws out a leg kick but Walls moves out of range and Mcmillan only half commits. Mcmillan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Walls napping and manages to drive through into side control! Mcmillan trying to control the position but Walls is working away. Walls sneaks back into half guard. Mcmillan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walls scores with a few weak punches. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Walls regains full guard. Nicely done. Walls is trying to control the position but Mcmillan postures up. Mcmillan looking to pass the guard. Walls looking for a sweep. Not yet Walls, not yet. Walls not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Mcmillan with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Mcmillan looking to control but Walls is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Mcmillan has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Walls's face.

Mcmillan prevents Walls from escaping the position. You can see the frustration on Walls's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Mcmillan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Walls is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Mcmillan advances to mount. Walls is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Mcmillan is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Walls has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Mcmillan wants to control the pace but Walls is squirming around nicely. Walls tries to hold on but Mcmillan pushes him away. Mcmillan throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Mcmillan avoids the attempt from Walls to control. Walls might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mcmillan prevents Walls from getting the reversal. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mcmillan avoids the attempt from Walls to control. And that is the end of the round. Mcmillan gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Walls avoiding damage as Mcmillan throws knees to the body.

Mcmillan working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Walls lands a nice uppercut. Mcmillan has picked Walls up - he's going for a ride! Mcmillan dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Walls trying to control from the bottom.
Mcmillan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mcmillan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Walls knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walls wants to get back to his feet. Walls actively working from the bottom here. Mcmillan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
And that's the end of the fight! Xander Walls showed his dominance in that final round. I think Walls has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
