The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin fails with a takedown attempt.

Booth tries to clinch but Franklin moves away
and Franklin counters with a right hand to the body.
Booth tries to bum rush Franklin with a series of wild strikes but Franklin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Booth throws an overhand right that lands on Franklin's shoulder, as Franklin tries to avoid the shot.
Booth rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Franklin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Franklin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Booth in his tracks.
Booth throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Booth throws a body punch but Franklin moves out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Franklin misses the target.
Franklin connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Franklin connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Booth throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Booth misses with a straight right.

Franklin catches Booth napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Booth to the canvas!
Booth is rocked!
Franklin trying to control the position from guard on top but Booth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Booth is still in real trouble! Can Franklin finish him?

Booth seems to have recovered his senses.
Booth is trying to control but can't.
Franklin uses his free foot to push down on Booth's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Booth.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
