Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grant Harklie (ranked 2359 p4p, 2228 weight class) and Jah Nino (ranked 276 p4p, 266 weight class). Harklie comes to the cage accompanied by Holycrud. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grant Harklie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jah Nino! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nino clinches. Nino is trying to maintain a safe position but Harklie gets an underhook and turns Nino into the cage. Nino blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Nino stalls. Nino's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A slow jab from Harklie misses its intended target. Nino throws the left hand but Harklie avoids the punch easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Nino looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A big right from Harklie misses. Nino lands a body shot.
Nino tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Harklie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Nino looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harklie swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nino. Nino slips under a jab from Harklie. Harklie throws an overhand right that lands on Nino's shoulder, as Nino tries to avoid the shot. A countering left hand to the body from Nino misses. Nino tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A jab from Harklie misses. A countering left hand to the body from Nino misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harklie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Nino pushes Harklie away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Harklie gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Harklie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Nino has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Harklie but great work by Nino. Harklie manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nino's best efforts. Harklie is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at LA FIGHT BARN, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Harklie looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Nino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harklie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. That's two minutes gone in the round. Harklie is trying to get back to full guard. Nino missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Nino is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Harklie looking for submissions off his back. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Harklie wants to control but Nino is keeping busy and won't allow it. Nino landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harklie actively working from the bottom here. Harklie keeps control of the position for the meantime. Harklie actively working from the bottom here. Lucky escape for Harklie because Nino loaded up on that one. Harklie wants to hold on but Nino pushes him away.

Harklie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Harklie tries to reverse the position but Nino maintains control. Harklie regains half guard. Nino landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Harklie is pressing down on Nino's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nino drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nino jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Harklie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Nino is defending well. Harklie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Nino has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Harklie celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
