Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Thad Thayer (ranked 19415 p4p, 2331 weight class) and Chris Wilson (ranked 274 p4p, 156 weight class). Wilson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Final Countdown. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thad Thayer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnem�ki, Roosa J�rvil�inen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson gets tackled into the cage by Thayer. Thayer maintains the clinch.
Thayer is fighting off a takedown attempt but Wilson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Thayer to the mat. Thayer regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Wilson tries to free his leg and advance position but Thayer is retaining full guard.
Wilson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Wilson throws an elbow that misses. Thayer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wilson's guard. Nice move by Thayer!

Thayer goes for a double leg but Wilson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wilson continues to drive forward.

Wilson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Thayer drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wilson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Wilson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Thayer napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Thayer shoots in and drives through. Wilson sprawls well.
Thad Thayer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wilson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Thayer manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Thayer has picked Wilson up - he's going for a ride! Thayer dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Thayer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wilson can do to turn this around?
Thayer in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Wilson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Thayer!
