Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Justice (ranked 3317 p4p, 24649 weight class) and Aki Kangasmaki (ranked 367 p4p, 499 weight class). Gunner Justice could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Aki Kangasmaki's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gunner Justice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aki Kangasmaki!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Justice misses the jab.
Justice drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Justice tries to stand but Kangasmaki is controlling from the bottom.

Justice is working Kangasmaki over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Justice postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kangasmaki is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Justice, into his guard.

Kangasmaki is looking to improve his position but Justice isn't that keen on the idea.

Justice has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Justice can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kangasmaki is looking to escape.

Justice throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kangasmaki tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Justice is in Kangasmaki's guard.
Kangasmaki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Justice can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Justice looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kangasmaki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kangasmaki is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Justice's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Justice's back!
