Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ace Kingston (ranked 4179 p4p, 4689 weight class) and Paul Proctor (ranked 408 p4p, 437 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ace Kingston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Proctor!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston throws a shot from downtown. Proctor moves away and avoids it.
A little jabbing left from Proctor on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kingston misses with an uppercut
and Proctor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kingston rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Proctor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Proctor looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Proctor jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Proctor uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kingston.
Proctor circles away from the clinch attempt.
Proctor swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Proctor slips under a jab.
Proctor throws a lazy uppercut
and Kingston counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Proctor has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kingston moves out of range as Proctor strikes.

Kingston tries to bum rush Proctor with a series of wild strikes but Proctor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Proctor throws a poor cross that misses
and Kingston counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ace Kingston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kingston lands a jab to the nose.
Proctor misses with a straight left.
It looked like Kingston was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Proctor.
Proctor lands an overhand right.
Kingston tries to clinch up but Proctor circles away and keeps his distance.
Kingston jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A telegraphed right hand from Kingston misses the target.
Kingston takes one to the chin there.
Kingston moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kingston displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Proctor throws out the jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kingston scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As Kingston backs off Proctor throws a huge counter combo but Kingston manages to avoid it all.
A swing and a miss from Proctor.
Kingston is looking to clinch but Proctor is avoiding it.
Kingston ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kingston misses with an uppercut
and Proctor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Proctor throws the left hand but Kingston avoids the punch easily.
Kingston throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Proctor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kingston cracks Proctor with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Proctor on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kingston walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Proctor scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kingston in his tracks.
Kingston takes one to the side of the head.

and Proctor counters with a stiff right hand.
Kingston tries to clinch but Proctor moves away
and Proctor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Kingston misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Proctor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kingston fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Proctor manages to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Proctor! But no joy.
Kingston has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Proctor finds it's way round the side to connect with Kingston's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kingston throws a big counter combination but Proctor scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kingston looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kingston misses with a few strikes there.
Kingston is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Kingston throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Proctor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kingston moves out of range as Proctor strikes.
Kingston takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Proctor thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kingston swings away with a body shot that misses
and Proctor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kingston misses with a shot to the body
letting Proctor counter with a right hand.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Proctor dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Kingston uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Proctor has time to react.

and Proctor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Proctor is rocked!
Proctor gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Kingston gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ace Kingston!
