Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hans Hansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Vincent Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen misses with a right hand
and Diaz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Diaz misses with a hook
and Hansen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hansen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hansen scores with a hook.

Diaz closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Diaz's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Hansen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Hansen tries to work over Diaz's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Hansen doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Diaz prevents a body shot from Hansen.
Hansen misses with a short punch on the inside.

Hansen breaks the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diaz takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hansen lands with an overhand left.

Diaz is rocked!

Diaz throws an overhand right that lands on Hansen's shoulder, as Hansen tries to avoid the shot.
A quick step to the side and Hansen tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Hansen finish him?
Diaz misses with a double jab.
Diaz seems to have recovered his senses.
Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hansen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hansen takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Diaz misses with an uppercut
and Hansen counters with a stiff right hand.
Hansen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Diaz.
Hansen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hansen throws a big shot that misses.
Diaz misses with a hook. Hansen ducked under it nicely.
Diaz ducks under a wild hook from Hansen.
Diaz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hansen.
Hans Hansen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Diaz darts in and clinches Hansen up against the cage.
Diaz takes a shot to the head.
Hansen tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Diaz's elbow.

Hansen breaks from the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hansen attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Diaz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Vincent Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz takes one to the chin there.
Diaz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hansen.
Hansen steps in with a hook that catches Diaz right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Hansen follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Diaz looks absolutely devastated.
