Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sherpov Gelovkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryota Fukado!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gelovkin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Gelovkin manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Gelovkin keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Ryota Fukado dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gelovkin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fukado sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gelovkin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fukado is fending him off so far but Gelovkin persists. Nope, Fukado circles away and we're back to standing.

We've been hearing good reports from Gelovkin's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Gelovkin pushes a forearm under Fukado's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Fukado is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
