Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sherpov Gelovkin (ranked 2076 p4p, 2116 weight class) and Ryota Fukado (ranked 214 p4p, 215 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sherpov Gelovkin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryota Fukado! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gelovkin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Gelovkin drives through with a takedown into Fukado's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Gelovkin looking to pass the guard. Fukado looking to control.
Gelovkin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fukado is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gelovkin, into his guard.
Gelovkin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gelovkin working for a triangle but Fukado defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gelovkin has a closed guard, preventing Fukado from standing up. Gelovkin keeping moving, preventing Fukado from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gelovkin is trying to keep Fukado in close.
Fukado scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Gelovkin pulls Fukado in to control the position. Gelovkin is looking for a triangle but Fukado pushes his legs off easily.
Fukado wanted to stand there but Gelovkin had control of the position. Gelovkin working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Fukado has passed into half guard!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gelovkin is not content to let Fukado control the position. Fukado thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Fukado is keen to just control but Gelovkin is a slippery customer. Fukado is looking to advance position but Gelovkin won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fukado prevents Gelovkin from improving his position. Gelovkin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gelovkin trying to hold on to Fukado's head to control him but Fukado postures up.
It looks like Fukado is going to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gelovkin is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gelovkin trying to control but Fukado postures up.
Fukado is keen to just control but Gelovkin is a slippery customer.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Gelovkin has his takedown stuffed and Fukado counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gelovkin is lucky that one didn't land flush.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gelovkin gets a double leg takedown into Fukado's guard. Fukado trying to control the position.
Gelovkin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Fukado dives on top into guard.
Gelovkin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fukado is aware though and is defending well. Gelovkin looking to control.
Gelovkin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gelovkin is breathing heavily. Fukado pushes down on Gelovkin's leg and manages to get into half guard. Fukado trying to control the action but Gelovkin is working from the bottom. Gelovkin wants to control the action here but instead Fukado manages to pass to full mount! Gelovkin stops Fukado from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
That's four minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Fukado connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Gelovkin tries to hold on but Fukado postures up. Gelovkin manages to control the position for a moment. Fukado avoids the attempt from Gelovkin to control. Fukado looking to control but Gelovkin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fukado connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Gelovkin manages to regain half guard. Good work. Gelovkin keeps control of the position for the meantime. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ryota Fukado dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Gelovkin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fukado sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Gelovkin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fukado is fending him off so far but Gelovkin persists. Nope, Fukado circles away and we're back to standing. Fukado swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Gelovkin moves out of range as Fukado throws a body kick.
Fukado drives through with a takedown into Gelovkin's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Gelovkin working a defensive guard here.
Gelovkin pulls Fukado in close to prevent any damage. We've been hearing good reports from Gelovkin's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Gelovkin pushes a forearm under Fukado's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Fukado is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
