Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Thomas Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Elijah Highlander!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Highlander misses with a jab to the body
and Davis counters with a big head kick but Highlander shrugs it off.
Highlander lands a jab to Davis's midsection.
Highlander loads up on a big right hand but Davis slips the punch.
Davis gets tackled into the cage by Highlander. Highlander maintains the clinch.
Highlander has a couple of punches blocked by Davis.
Davis working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Davis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davis blocks a body shot from Highlander.
Highlander misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Davis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Highlander drags the fight down to the ground.
Highlander is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Highlander is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Davis rolls with it to try and escape but Highlander cranks on the arm and Davis is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
