Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Poirier (ranked 24707 p4p, 5102 weight class) and Inbrib Ngacousinfukker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Nate Poirier has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nate Poirier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Inbrib Ngacousinfukker! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poirier throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ngacousinfukker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ngacousinfukker takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Poirier misses with a jab, cross combination.
Poirier slips a jab and a cross from Ngacousinfukker.
Ngacousinfukker has a takedown stuffed. Poirier lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ngacousinfukker circles away quickly and effectively. Poirier fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ngacousinfukker lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ngacousinfukker has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Poirier gets caught flat footed, as Ngacousinfukker shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Poirier wants to stand and escape but Ngacousinfukker is having none of it. Poirier manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Poirier is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ngacousinfukker to keep the fight standing. Poirier looking for a takedown. Ngacousinfukker dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ngacousinfukker gets control of Poirier's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ngacousinfukker will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ngacousinfukker holds on and takes a little breather. Poirier got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ngacousinfukker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Poirier has managed to get both his arms back between Ngacousinfukker's legs - danger averted. Ngacousinfukker is working an open guard so Poirier takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Ngacousinfukker looks winded! Poirier scores with a three punch combo!
Poirier throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Ngacousinfukker's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Poirier dives in looking to finish as Ngacousinfukker flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Poirier's strikes! Poirier is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Ngacousinfukker's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Ngacousinfukker was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
